THE STORY
Monsieur Moustache is the place for classic haircuts, traditional shaves, excellent beardreshapes, headshaves but also for advice. Monsieur Moustache is a dedication to vintage design, music and lifestyle.
It is the place Pascal Bannink may call his own authentic barbershop for already 10 years, after having worked with various famous names in the barbering world (Schorem, NY Barbershop and Barber in Amsterdam).
Alongside the barbershop, Pascal has the passion for vintage vinyl music. As a vintage vinyl DJ he stood at the cradle of various initiatives like Naald en Kraak and Burlesque Circus, he occasionally still spins his 50s and 60s vinyl on all sorts of festivities in both Dutch and foreign clubs and spun in cities like Berlin, New Orleans and New York in the past
Next to Pascal Rex Adriaansz joined the barbershop some years ago. Also he has his roots in music. As a professional guitar player/teacher he is known from bands like Hotfood Hazard and the Johnny Cash tribute band Memphis Rose. If you don’t catch him in the shop to do your beard or hair you might catch him on stage because he is still very active as a musician.
Our new addition to the shop is Eddie Lopez. Eddie is a jack of all trades, brilliant musician (He has his own band Eddie and Thee Scorpions), classic hotrod builder but also a very good barber. He has been working as a barber at Tiptop Barbershop in Los Angeles for many years. But love brought him here in the Lowlands to be with his Dutch girlfriend. Eddie will take over the Friday from Pascal. Don’t hesitate to book an appointment with him because he is no rookie!
